Loads of books waiting for a nice reader to bring them home.
– We will create a nation of readers, claimed the Danish Minister of Culture Marianne Jelved as she opened the event “Copenhagen reads berserk” at the Central Library in Copenhagen (where you can collect tons of books for free).
The minister revealed herself as a heavy reader as she admitted to have books everywhere in her house – except the bathroom!
The day was a warm up for the great national reading day, which happens during Spring 2014. And while we are waiting for that … Danish singer/songwriter Annika Aakjær made a small and intimate concert with her much humored songs about turning 31, watching too much TV, friendship and coupling.
